The opportunity is great to make money with products available in the public domain which is the main reason why I created this expanded section for you to learn.
When you have content in the public domain? There are literally millions of creative works, books, music, musical scores, films, photographs, illustrations, images and more that exist in the public domain. But if you are so public, why are they hiding?
The short answer is: they are not. There are many works that people do not realize now considered public property. From classical literature to works of fiction on a wide variety of topics, silent films, classic films, classic cartoons and beloved songs, including instantly recognizable works of art and images can be found in the public domain.
Here are some ways to find work in the public domain that can be used in any way you begin to make money.
Research on Internet
Where would we be today without the Internet? There are literally millions of resources on the World Wide Web, accessible to anyone with knowledge and patience to find them.
Search engines are a good place to start. While Google remains the most popular and effective, each site is not included in the search titan. Try running the same search on multiple engines: Altavista, Dogpile, Yahoo and MSN Search are some of the many options available. (And if you really want to start big, you can search on search engines first, check each of them separately.)
Here are some examples:
? Examples of public domain works
? list of free public domain
? public domain books, free
? website of public domain
A note of caution: do not trust everything you read online. Always check if the owner of the website has information (for example, you can probably rely on data from the Library of Congress, but not my neighbor Bubba who runs a thriving business in the trunk of your car.). In general, if the same name appears in multiple searches, it is probably the public domain.
You can also find forums, message boards and e-groups devoted to news and public debate. View Internet directories or search for “public forum” (also to replace a group, list, directory, news, forum or community) and May, you discover you need more information. Be sure to visit the groups, mailing lists and forums, to read before joining some of the messages and member profiles to determine if the other people involved seem easy to talk and open to new members with many issues. The Internet community is often a good place to meet people with similar interests, and most are willing to share the experiences they have acquired.
Among the many places of public resources available:
Library of classic books: An online library of novels and literary genre in the public domain, by authors such as Jules Verne, LM Montgomery, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. See chapter by chapter in HTML format.
Project Gutenberg: A huge collection of novels, books of fiction and other work in the public domain, all available for free download in eBook format.
RetroFilm-com: Offers a catalog of public domain films, television programs, cartoons, musicals, documentaries and more. The site serves as a television and the companies do not provide copies of movies for people, but it’sa good place to find the titles that you can find a copy elsewhere.
Report of the public domain: The website of a monthly newsletter that reveals important works in the public domain. Each issue contains examples of choice and a variety of media, at least one new book, film, game, song, image, and child labor are included each month, from the authors, artists and designers Dorothy Parker and George Gershwin. A yearly subscription will be set one back $ 395, but for those who do not have the time or inclination to make a thorough investigation, but it is an excellent source of new material.
Public libraries
Libraries are a great resource for search and free public domain. Choose a topic that interests you and scan the shelves of books related topic, or spend an afternoon browsing the catalog. Most of the time, the release date is right near the top of the list on the card, so that the identification of works published before 1923 is a simple question.
Most librarians are well informed about their library collections and are happy to help you find exactly what you want. If you are planning a trip to the library, it is advantageous to make a list of questions on the subject of his research and approach of the library before you do anything else, especially if you are a small local library. State’s largest university library management and staff of the library in May does not have the time or resources to devote personal attention to each patron.
